Vad vi har lärt oss - SO

Vi har lärt oss om hur den ortodoxa tron blev till, vi har också läst om deras kyrka och deras traditioner.

Vi har försökt att leta upp fakta, vilket är rätt så svårt för att det inns inte mycket fakta om den ortodoxa tron. 

Vi skulle vilja ha hjälp med att hitta enkla texter, annars går det bra!

Hollys heroes part 14

The Outlaws, Joel and Scubi was going to Hollys home country - New Zealand. 

They where going to visit Hollys old school and then her old home.

When they where in new Zealand everyone thought it was so different from home. When they visited Hollys old school they met a guy named Watene. Nick didn't like him from the first sight, Nick was jealous that he talked with Holly and gave her compliments. When it was time for a walk around around Watene asked Nick if he wanted him to guide him around, so Nick said yes and followed him.

Trish gave Scubi an order and told her that she would keep an eye on Joel and film everything he does. Scubi saw Joel, Johnno and Ralph walk for their own and she had a fun idea. She would play a girl who hugged and kissed Joel while Ralph and Johnno recorded everything. That would make Trish so jealous and she wouldn't notice that the girl that Joel hugged was Scubi.

  

Holly and her old friend visit Hollys old house, that brought so many memories to Holly. After they had looked around they see Nick and Watene who are going to the rail wich is very dangerous so Holly and her friend ran and stopped them. 

Watene had told Nick that they had to go to the rail becuase everyone in the Outlaws was there but that wasn't true. Holly became angry amd yelled at Watene. She said that her couisin wouldn't treat her friends like that and you could see how happg Nick got to know that Watene was Hollys cousin and not her old boyfriend.

The Outlaws ate dinner and then went to bed, in the end Holly said that she always will put The Outlaws first and never leave the team, that made everyone very happy.

In this episode there was a very good ending that made everyone happy. You could also see that Nick really likes Holly because he got that jealous of Watene. I think Nick is going to tell Holly someday about his feelings for her, that's going to be fun to see!

Förbränning av magnesium: NO

Material: Brännare, degeltång, kniv, skyddande skiva, urglas, magnet, batteri, glödlampa, magnesiumband.

När vi skrapade bort lite på ytan av en bit magnesiumbandet blev det blankt, glansigt och det ledde ström vilket det inte gjorde innan vi skrapade bort en bit av ytan på bandet. Magnesiumbandet var inte magnetiskt före skrapningen eller efter.

Vi tände gasolbrännaren och använde en degeltång för att hålla i bandet medan vi brännde det. Magnesium är en böjlig, silvervit metall vilket gjorde att metallen började brinna efter bara några sekunder. När magnesium tas ut ur lågan fortsatte det fortfarande brinna fast i vitt sken medan det bildades en kraftig vit rök. Efter några sekunder slocknade lågan och istället för metallen har vi fått ett vitt pulver som heter magnesiumoxid, ett helt nytt ämne. När ett ämne omvandlas till ett helt nytt ämne säger man att det sker en kemisk reaktion. 

Syre och magnesium bildar magnesiumoxid och när ämnen brinner i luft bildas oxider.

Hollys heroes part 14

PART 14:

The Rams and the Outlaws was going to play in a league called Panpacic and to play in that league every players was going to pay about 250 dollar each! That was pretty expensive for the Outlaws but the they really tried to get money for everybody. 

The Outlaws got in groups to make money fast, so Ralph and Johnno got money trying sell some burgers, and that worked. But they only got money for one person. Franco played a cardgame and the one who won could win money. Franco won the game and he also won the money. 

Trish went to the doctor becuase her foot had been injured. The doctor told Trish that she need to rest until the match. But that didn't stop Trish from training with her team, sadly her foot only became worse. 

The Outlaws made a list of the ones who had pay to play in the league. Holly, Franco, Ralph and Nick had paid for their ticket. At first Jacintas dad didn't want to pay for her becuase he didn't want her to play with the Outlaws. But Jacinta gave him no choice, he would pay for her. And so he did at least! 

The Outlaws got together and counted the ones who had pay for the ticket. Everybody had exept Emily and Johnno. The Outlaws only had money to pay for one of them and Johnno went straight to Emily to tell her about the bad news. 

Emily had a show where she showed up sea animals with her friend Sophie. Sophie had learned Emily everything she could and it went really good for Emily. Johnno talked to Emily and told her about the news, Emily didn't worry about it so she told Johnno take he would play in the league. She still had things to do with her sea animal show. Johnno was so proud of her and very happy.

The Outlaws and the Rams went to school where Mr. Peterson divided the papers about the league just for the who had paid for the ticket. Those who was going to play in the league was Holly, Johnno, Ralph, Nick, Jacinta, Scubi, Trish and Joel. Mr.Peterson handed out some papers about the league to each of them. Since Trish trained with her injured foot it only became worse. When it was her turn to get the papers from Mr.Peterson she couldn't even walk. So she said to Scubi to pick the papers up for her, but Mr.Peterson immediately knew something was strange. He told Trish that injured players couldn't play in the league. That made Trish so angry that she ran out of the classroom and smacked the door. She was so disappointed and sad becuase it was so unfair. Mr.Peterson then gave Trish and Scubi a bag with something in there. It was the Outlaws dresses that meant they where now a member of The Outlaws.

In this episode you could tell that Trish really took her training seriously. Her foot was injured but she still kept training, and it was kind of sad that Mr.Peterson didn't let Trish play in the league becuase she really wanted it. But I think he only thought of her best, becuase he didn't want her foot to get worse. It was very sweet of Emily letting Johnno play instead of her in the league, becuase Johnno really wanted it. In the end of the episode Trish and Scubi got a member of The Outlaws, it's going to be very exciting to see how they going to treat the players in The Outlaws now when they are going to play in the same team. Can't wait to see!
