Nature, geography and climate in Australia: Australia has three diffrents  clmates, in the north of Australia they have tropical climate, in the south they have temperated climate and in the middle part of Austalia they have dry climate. If you look at Sweden you can see a big different. We only have one climate her wich is temperated climate. In Sweden we have alot of woods and if you compare to Australia they have more desert. In some part of Australia they also have bushfire wich we in Sweden never hade. So there's a pretty big different.

Population in Australia: Who are they and where do they live? -  Australia has a really big population with over 22 million peoples. In Sweden there's only 9 million peoples, that means Australia has 13 million more people. That's alot. Many people are immigrated and come over the seas. The first australian people was the Aboriginal, some of their paintings in rockshelles are at least over 20 thousand years old. Aboriginal where camping in one place for a while then they found another better place to find better food and better places to live at. To cath food like fishes they used spears and other weapons. Alot of things they used to survive was wood, they used wood to make a place to sleep, canons, weapon and boats. Britain controlled Australia for many years but is now an independed nation. A british man called James Cook decited to sail over the sea to explore the unknown country Australia. With him he had his men, food and medicine. They build things like jails and explored some unknown animals. When they had build roads and streets people decided to stay there and become successful. Thats how Australia became a country.

Animals and plants in Australia: Australia has many different animals and plants then the rest of the world. It's because Australia is surrounded by the sea. 

The marsupials is one group of animals which originally comes from Australia. The reptiles is also one group who originally comes from the land i the south. 

80% of the worlds animals lives ONLY in Australia.

Australia has many different exotic animals. But if you look at Sweden, birds are very common. The bluetit is our most common bird and it stays all winter. In Sweden, we also have brown bears. Foxes are also a common animal in Sweden. The different is that in Australia they have more exotic and dangerous animals. Meanwhile in Sweden we have more "basic" and not dangerous animals, exept our black adder which is pretty dangerous.

Resources in Australia: Australia has many resources. They have the worlds biggest beef industry. They found gold a long time ago and that made many rich men intressted. They started digging for more gold, and instead found minerals, iron ore, uranium and coal. Australia even has the biggest opal industry. When it comes to jobs most people works at shops, turism and in the edication.

Many people comes from all over the world to get an education in Australia.

Recreation in Australia: In Australia is the sports a big recreation like to other countries.

The main sport is football that also is a very populare sport all around the world! The biggest game in Australian Rules Fotball (that's how the locals call it) had over 120.000 people in the audience. 

A popular sport at summer is cricket. Cricket first came from England. Surfing is also a very populare sport in summer, but it can also be dangerous to be a surfer. A lot of young men have joined life saving courses to make the beaches safer. In Australia they also love music! In Sydney they have the worlds famous opera house. If you look at Sweden, soccer and icehockey is our most common sports. Our music taste is very alike to. So Sweden and Australia really have things in common when it comes to music and sports!

The Australian personality: The Australians are very tolerant people. Because Australia is such a big country from many different countries and religons you can't really say how their personality is in gender. They will stand behind the underdog and don't have mush respect towards the authority. The Australian people are also very kind and generous. Now if where going to compare with people in Sweden we have it really calm here. There's not so many things to say, but swedish people are also known to be very kind and smart. The Swedish population is very calm and is hardly against war and fights, that makes them peaceful. Which i think is great!
